The topic of the dissertation is the impacts of human resource management on the employee’s performance. I try to analyse the effects of developing effective strategic planning of the human resource management on the performance of the organisational staff members. In this regard, the main aim of the dissertation is to identify the impacts of the human resource management on the overall organisational performance through gathering authentic data. In this study, I try to gather both the primary and secondary data for collecting the right information which help me to conduct the research and identify the effects of managing human resource. Additionally, I try to analyse the collected data through applying the secondary information as well as statistical applications so that it is possible to conduct the research efficiently. I also aim at developing some effective recommendations for the managers of the companies in order to enhance human resource management and influence the employees in the organisations so that the overall organisational performance can be maximised. In this context, I have faced some difficulties in conducting the dissertation due to several reasons for which there is delay in completing the research.
Difficulties faced by the researcher
Lack of secondary sources:
It is difficult for me to collect proper secondary data which can help me in gathering my knowledge and understanding for doing the research strategically.
Lack of timing:
It is also another serious issue for which the researcher cannot complete the dissertation efficiently by analysing the topic and recommending some suggestions.
It is important for the researcher to collect proper secondary data so that theories and concept can be gathered for conducting the research efficiently. The theories and concepts are important for me to understand the topic of the dissertation and complete it successfully. However, without proper theories and concept, I cannot understand the strategies of human resource management as well as the tactics of enhancing the organisational performance. This is one of the main difficulties during the dissertation for which I face problems in analysing the research topic successfully.
In order to conduct the dissertation, the researcher needs appropriate timing so that he or she can gather authentic information and do proper research for fulfilling the objectives of the study. Without proper timing, the researcher cannot conduct the research efficiently due to lack of information and proper analysis. I also suffer from this issue as the deadline for submitting the dissertation is low. As the analytical parts as well as collection of data are the time taken activities, it is difficult for me to complete the study within proper time. It is also very hard for me to do the analysis on the secondary data and also on the basis of statistical tools within proper timing.
Lack of budget:
Lack of budget is another major problem for which the researcher cannot collect authentic information which is necessary for the dissertation.
Poor knowledge related to the topic of the dissertation is also another serious issue for which I fail to analyse the topic and recommend some solutions for improving the organisational performance.
I suffer from the issue of lack of budget during the dissertation which is a serious issue that affect the data collection and analysis technique. In order to evaluate the topic of the dissertation as well as identify the impacts of the human resource management on the organisational performance. In his regard, I face difficulties in gather secondary information from literatures such as books and journals as well as online articles. There are many books and journals which I need to purchase due to copyright and due to lack of budget, I cannot access the secured secondary sources. This adversely affects my analytical skills as I fail to gather knowledge and understanding to improve my skills. Lack of secondary sources due to low budget further has negative impacts on my dissertation. I fail to analyse the dissertation topic due to lack of knowledge and understanding regarding the employee’s performance and human resource management which affect the quality of dissertation.
Difficulties in gathering data:
Poor participation of the participants and lack of interest among the employees and managers are the main issues behind the difficulties in gathering authentic data.
I also face problems in gathering appropriate data and information as the employees are non-cooperative and they have fear in discussing the internal working condition of the organisations.
On the other hand, the managers also do not cooperate and provide me the relevant data due to lack of privacy in gathering the information related to the organisation.
The employees and managers are the main source for me to collect the information related to the internal working condition, human resource management strategies and organisational performance. This information is necessary for this particular dissertation and it is difficult for me to collect them due to lack of cooperation of the managers and employees. I also suffer from designing the questionnaire and attract the participants in participating in the survey questions for collecting the data. In addition to these, the sample size is not appropriate where most of the employees are non-cooperative for which I face difficulties in gathering appropriate information related to the organisation. Poor sample size and lack of cooperation as well as low quality of survey questionnaire are the main problems for which I face the difficulties of collecting the primary data from the representatives of the companies.
Lack of authentic information:
Validity and reliability of the collected data is necessary for the researcher without which it is not possible for her or him to progress in the research process. I try to gather effective information, but face difficulties in collecting authentic data due to lack of participation.
Mental health issue:
The employees and managers do not participate fully as they are suffering from fear that the internal data of the companies can be revealed by the researcher in business purpose.
I fail to ensure them the data and collected internal information is used only for the research purpose. However, it is difficult to convince them. Lack of cooperation and low participation rate of the organisational representatives further raise the issue of unauthentic data.
On the other hand, mental health issue is another serious problem for which I delay my submission. I cannot manage the working progress in this dissertation due to lack of time, poor knowledge and analytical skills. This further raises my mental pressure which adversely affects the quality of dissertation. Without proper management of research, data collection and analysis, the researcher cannot complete the study within effective time. I hereby suffer from the difficulty in gathering authentic information and analysing the collected data which further increases my mental pressure.
Lack of support from the supervisor:
Lack of continuous support from the supervisor is another serious problem for the researcher as it is difficult to understand the information and analyse the research topic successfully.
Low quality of writing:
Low quality of writing the dissertation make bad impression on the professors and it is difficult for me to use effective vocabulary to express the understanding. Moreover, lack of knowledge and skills, are other issues for which I cannot write the dissertation properly.
There is much scope to utilise suitable vocabulary which can improve the quality of dissertation. I fail to use suitable English due to lack of statistical terms and knowledge regarding the human resource management. Due to poor understanding and lack of timing, the quality of the dissertation is hampered. Without the supervisor’s support and cooperation, it is not possible for me to progress in the research process. My supervisor is cooperative, but it is difficult to discuss all my confusion with the professor due to lack of timing. This further leads to misunderstanding in completing the dissertation successfully. I also face problems in understanding the topic of the dissertation and it is difficult to clarify all the concepts due to lack of availability of the supervisor. Hereby, it is very hard to understand the theories and concepts which are beneficial to complete the dissertation.
I also suffer from poor communication skill which is one of the major difficulties in conducting the research strategically. Without proper communication, it is not possible to communicate with others and gather more authentic information.
Lack of interaction:
Lack of interactive skill is also another serious issue for which I fail to collect more authentic data and information successfully.
Communication and interaction, both are important factors in order to progress in the research process. I fail to communicate with the supervisor regarding the concept and strategies of human resource management for which the quality of the dissertation paper and the analysis are negatively affected. Apart from that, it is necessary to interact with all the employees and managers in order to collect authentic data. I try to develop sample questionnaire for the employees so that it is possible to collect the valid information related to the organisational culture performance of the employees as well as human resource management strategy planning in the workplace. In order to understand the impacts of the human resource management on the performance of the workers, I need to identify the internal working condition of the companies. However, the employees are not willing to participate in the sample survey as they are not interested in discussing the information related to the internal organisational practice. Hereby, it is difficult for m to convince them due to lack of communication and interactive skills. Moreover, I try to arrange interview with the managers of the companies, so that information related to the organisational strategic planning for enhancing the overall performance. Due to lack of interactive skills and poor communication, I face difficulties to gather valid information which has adverse impacts on my quality of the dissertation.
Lack of statistical knowledge:
Statistical knowledge is necessary for doing efficient research and lack of knowledge and technical skills in the statistical tools further raise my difficulties to conduct the dissertation proficiently.
Poor analytical skill:
Lack of analytical and problems solving skills are also other problems for which it is hard for me to analyse the topic of the dissertation and meet the objective of the paper by recommending some suitable suggestions for improving organisational performance through human resource management tactics.
The researcher needs appropriate skills and technique to analyse the research topic and without problem solving skills and lack of knowledge in statistical tools, it is difficult to evaluate the collected data on the basis on quantitative analysis. In this research, it is hard for me to analyse the collected data due to poor problem solving and analytical skills. I fail to interpret the collected data which further deteriorate the quality of my dissertation. Hereby, it is problematic for me to evaluate the research topic as I don’t have appropriate statistical knowledge and technical skills to analyse the data.

I try to conduct dissertation through proper research and analysis in order to meet the objective of identifying the impacts of the human resource management on the overall organisational performance.
I was suffering from fear as it was sole responsibility of mine to conduct the dissertation and it was very difficult to do the in depth analysis.

It is my responsibility to complete the research paper within effective time with the help of my supervisor. I try to play crucial role in collecting the authentic data and information directly from the representatives of the organisations. At that time, I feel there is not sufficient time for conducting the research and it further raise my mental stress. This is the major issue I was suffering from. However, my consular Scott helped me a lot in overcoming the situation and maintaining mental peace for progressing in the research work strategically.
The difficulties such as poor time management, lack of authentic data and lack of analytical skills are the main bad experiences. On the other hand, the good experience during the conducting the dissertation are the support which I got from my supervisor and consular as well as the systematic approach which I follow during the research process.
The situation was good due to the support of the supervisor and some of the people in the management group of the companies. However, there are several challenges which I have faced during conducting the research paper.
The good experiences are proper support from the supervisors and cooperation of some of the managers from the organisations who try to help me in doing the research successfully. On the other hand, the bad experiences are poor knowledge and statistical tools and lack of time management as well as lack of proper information which may help me to complete the dissertation efficiently. In this regard, I need to improve my proficiency from teh bad experience so that I can overcome the difficulties in near future and conduct more researches strategically. Poor communication and interaction skill is one of the major difficulties which deteriorate the quality of many dissertation papers I fail to interact with the participants for gathering more authentic information. In this regard, it was difficult for me to progress in the research as most of the information are not valid and relevant and therefore did not contribute ion the research work.
I try to gather relevant data and information both primary and secondary for improving my knowledge and analyse the research topic proficiently. In order to identify the relationship between the human resource management and organisational performance, I try to gather authentic data and analyse it proficiently by using statistical tools.
In order to conduct future research more systematically and proficiently, I would like to develop proper Gantt chart in order to manage time. Moreover, I would like to improve my communication skills to interact with the managers of the companies in order to collect valid data which contributes in the research work positively.
The topic of the dissertation is interesting in the recent era globalisation where most of the companies try to manage their employees as they are the main internal stakeholders of enhancing business performance. In this regard, human resource management has crucial impacts on the overall performance of the organisation. I try to conduct in depth research for understanding the impacts of human resource management through primary and secondary data collection as well as quantitative and qualitative data analysis methods. However, lack of statistical analysis skills and poor knowledge deteriorate the quality of the dissertation where I have faced difficulties in interpreting the collected data successfully to build the relationship between the human resource management and organisational performance.
In order to conduct future research, I would like to improve my analytical skills as well as increase my knowledge for successful completion of the dissertation. In addition to these, I would like to manage time through developing Gantt chart, improve budget, gather more secondary sources and collect primary data in order to interpret it for completing the dissertation efficiently.

It is important for the researcher to resolve the above mentioned issues faced by me during conducting the research. Gathering more secondary data is helpful for me to improve my knowledge and understanding related to the topic of the dissertation. Apart from that, the secondary sources also help me to conduct qualitative analysis and interpret the impacts of the human resource management on the organisational performance. Improving the budget for this dissertation also will provide me a scope to do future research more strategically and increase sample size so that valid and reliable data can be collected. Additionally, I need to manage timing so that it is possible to progress in the dissertation successfully. Improving communication and interaction skills is another solution to resolve the difficulties during conducting the research. Communication and interaction with the participants in the sample survey will be beneficial to gather more authentic information and complete the research successfully. Cooperation with the supervisor is also effective solution for future as it will provide me a scope to conduct the research proficiently. In addition to these, the application of Data Protection Act 1998 is also another strategy to improve the quality dissertation ans convince the participants to participate in the sample survey. In this regard, the act is beneficial to protect the collected data and the researcher can ensure the participants that the information will be applied only for academic research purpose. Apart from that, recovering the quality of writing is also helpful for me to conduct further research so that I can complete the dissertation more proficiently. Through these recommended strategies, I can improve the quality of dissertation and increase proficiency in conducting the research in near future.
During the research, I face some difficulties such as lack of time management, poor budget, low interaction skills and lack of support of the supervisors.
