LESSONS LEARNED
The Educational LAN infrastructure project was a challenging project and it has been proved to be an excellent opportunity to improve and acquire new skills on Microsoft Client and Server Operating Systems, which are important skills that may assist in employment.
Some of the key skills that I have learned and improved by getting involved in this project are as follow:
The next that I will be getting involved in some project, I will accurately relate project aims and objectives with the total time, available to complete the project, and select a project that fits a particular time frame. In Addition, I would also allocate some time for asking for proper feedback. If it is required to perform a new project, I would choose another project in the network, considering that it is the area that I would like to develop my skills.
SUMMARY
The aim of the project comprised of building a Network System for the TMA Training Centre which consisted of users logging in and request services from the Server Computer on the Network. The Objective of the Project comprised of designing a sandbox environment to prove that, the users in the training centre could securely access the shared resources on the Network and that the Server PC would have the capability to administer the client computers on the particular Network.
The Windows Server 2012 R2 Standard (x64) was correctly installed and configured on the Server computer virtual machine. Also, the Windows 10 Professional (x64) was properly deployed on the Client Computer by using the WDS Server present on the Network.
The aims and objectives of the project got accomplished. The Server Network Infrastructure solution has been designed for the Educational Training Centre.
